What is the Favorites Editor?

The CICSPlex SM Web User Interface Favorites Editor allows you to work with your favorites.

Accessing the Favorites Editor

The link to the Favorites Editor is in the Navigation Frame. The link to the Favorites Editor is displayed only to users who have created one or more favorites. Click the link and a Favorites Editor session is opened in a new window. You cannot have more than one Favorites Editor session running at any one time.

Options for handling favorites

The Favorites Editor gives you a number of options:

Move: Alter the listed position of an existing favorite.
Copy: Copy an existing favorite and give it a new title and list position.
Edit: Change the components of a favorite including title, destination, context and scope, and filter settings.
Delete: Remove an item from your list of favorites.

The favorites editor allows you to edit your own list of favorites. It does not allow you to manage the favorites of other users. Only WUI administrators with access to the user editor have the authority to do this.
