In the help pages, tables with more than nine rows can be filtered so that only those rows that contain a specified string in a specified column are displayed. This function is available only when using Microsoft Internet Explorer, or Mozilla-based browsers, such as Firefox, at version 5.0 or higher. JavaScript must be enabled.
To display only those rows in which a cell contains a particular string, enter the string, or a regular expression, choose the column from the drop-down list, and select the adjacent Go button.
Filtering is cumulative; that is, each operation is applied to the results of the previous operation. If you want to reset the table so that all rows are displayed in their original order, select Reset.
The character string that is entered for filtering can contain wildcard characters: a question mark (?) represents any single character and an asterisk (*) represents any string of characters. See Creating Advanced Generic Queries for more information.
